16 Charities Funded By Bharti

Ever since the age of 10, Mr. Bharti had a dream to help amputees, the destitute, the homeless, the hungry, and injured animals. Finally, his dream came true with his following 16 charitable centers: Free Artificial Limb Centers, Homeless Shelters, Water ponds for wildlife, Animal Rescue Centers in India, Free Food Stalls in Hospitals, and Free Sleeping Bags & shoes for the Homeless:

Mr. Bharti opened and fully funded (100% personal funds) three (3) Permanent Charitable Free Artificial Limb Centers in Kanpur (UP), Anandpur Sahib (Punjab), Kotkapura(Punjab), and two(2) Permanent Charitable homeless shelters in Kanpur( UP), and Faridkot( Punjab). He has opened and funded two Charitable Animal Rescue Centers in the historic towns of Hastinapur (UP) and Anandpur Sahib, along with ten water ponds and handpumps for wildlife in the deep jungles. He also loves arranging free food services in hospitals and distributing thousands of free sleeping bags to the homeless in the US and India.

  1. Since 2022, I mostly work on a pro bono basis or 100% of my income goes to my charities (I do not accept any charitable contributions, and 100% of funding is from my personal funds).
  2. Artificial limbs (arms and legs) are custom-made, fabricated, and fitted on the same day for incoming amputees (walk-ins are common and welcome). Amputees are provided free meals along with the train/bus fare and sent home on the same day after some training.
  3. These services provide â life to all residents rescued from the streets and brought to my homeless shelters in a designated Ashram ambulance. No one is denied rescue.
  4. The homeless are picked off the streets in marked Ashram ambulance and are provided free food and shelter at the centers (named Apna Ghar Ashrams, meaning a home for their entire life (after providing urgent medical attention). Most residents need mental health care, and that is also provided to rescued residents.
  5. Injured birds, stray dogs, and other wild animals are provided free treatment and shelter in India. I am getting training as a rescue volunteer. We are also regular contributors to two Wild Life Rescue Charities in the United States.
  6. 10 water ponds along with hand pumps (to manually fill the ponds) have been built in the deep woods to save the birds and wildlife from scorching heat (often reaching 120 degrees in the summer) in India.
  7. On our behalf, a kind local physician, Dr. Sharma, is volunteering to distribute free Wheelchairs (funded by us).
  8. Hospital visitors and waiting attendants are served free food at a Meerut Hospital in UP (India).
  9. Many Swamis live in seclusion in the deep woods infested with wild animals and other dangers. Volunteers help me travel to their huts to deliver bags(bi-weekly) of raw food and tarps to reinforce their feeble huts before each monsoon season. These volunteers take nothing for themselves.
  10. Dedicated volunteers are helping me plant trees in Faridkot (Pb) and Hastinapur (UP). I pay for the trees. Volunteers do the hard work and take nothing for their work.
  11. Installed benches for the elderly for rest (walking trails). For nearly two decades, I have enjoyed serving on the board of Lawyers for Hungry Children (a non-profit dedicated to helping children). Anoop and I have been regular contributors to the Doctors without Borders, Ballard Food Bank, Homeless Outreach, the Seattle Union Gospel Mission, and some other volunteer organizations.
